Peace networks
The Institute is a member of the International Peace Bureau. It takes part in the Bureau’s events and, at the Bureau’s request, occasionally consults with it on how the concept of peace is defined and used across its outputs. The Executive Director of the International Peace Bureau took part as a panellist in the Institute’s side event at the Human Rights Council in March 2025. The Bureau lists the Institute among its members.
The Institute is a member of the Alliance for Peacebuilding. It takes part in the Alliance’s events. The Alliance lists the Institute among its members. Its Future of Peace and Security Coalition cites the Director’s 2023 article “Reframing the Ontology of Peace Studies” as a key resource.
