Seminars, consultations and keynotes

The Institute for Global Peacecraft offers its research to organizations that work for peace, or whose work affects it. A researcher of the Institute can lead a consultation, give a seminar or deliver a keynote address, in person or online.

Consultations

A consultation brings together key stakeholders from your organization for a focused discussion. It can help an organization to state what it means by peace and to compare that with other definitions in use. It can also help the organization to see how its own theory of change relates to that goal.

Seminars

A seminar is given to your whole organization on a specific topic. It presents the Institute’s research and leaves time for questions and discussion.

Keynotes

If you are organizing a conference or a similar event, a researcher of the Institute for Global Peacecraft can give a keynote address, in person or online.

Topics

Consultations, seminars and keynotes can address:

  • the Institute’s research on how the concept of peace is defined and used;
  • its methods, and why it relies only on premises that anyone can independently verify;
  • its findings on the common ground that definitions of peace share;
  • the comprehensive theory of change for global peace that the Institute is developing, offered as a starting point for discussion.

Each is planned in advance with the organization or the organizers of the event, so that it fits their work or the theme and audience of the event.

Earlier presentations

The Institute has presented its research at events organized by others, including invited presentations at O.P. Jindal Global University in 2023 and at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva in 2025. They are listed on the Events page.
